The title may be a law gag. The title may be a truth. The title may actually scare you. The title is relevant to all of you.
But what does it mean? Why do we feel a necessity to be different. To differentiate ourselves from the norm? Is it a primal thing - that some animalistic tendency requires us to attempt to highlight key characteristics in order to mate, or to literally be the king of the pack?!
Or maybe it is something far more basic than that. This desire, to be individual, to stand out, to be different stems from something far less. Vanity is a feature inherent to all of us - and in order to satisfy those yearnings, and to fulfil this desire - we must actively attempt to remove ourselves from majority. From the many. The masses of normalcy. That may be why we stand out.
I still just like the notion of Blue Suede shoes - Elvis I know you are out there, you had it right buddy!
